InfoDx, Incorporated is a non-profit public charity organized to distribute free medical decision support software to underserved areas of the world. The software, InfoDx, provides a comprehensive information retrieval system to assist in identifying diagnoses consistent with patient facts, history, clinical tests and symptoms and provides current treatment options. Not Web-dependent, InfoDx is intended to be used in developing countries by medical personnel of varied skill levels and serves as an electronic compilation of medical texts, updated on a semi-annual or annual basis. InfoDx, Inc. will provide free updates and technical support to end users on an ongoing basis. InfoDx is currently available in English for the Desktop/Notebook/TabletPC platforms and a PocketPC version is in development for a late 2006 release. Efforts are also underway to include major-use language translations and cultural sensitivity enhancements.

Understanding that different countries have varying needs, InfoDx, Inc. employs technology and medical experts to consult on enhancements and customization of InfoDx on a cost-fee basis. These InfoDx Plus versions would require independent funding for both exploratory and design efforts. InfoDx Plus versions might include a simple medical records system, a specialized feedback module designed to provide custom statistical information, or a unique language translation. InfoDx, Inc. will provide all research and development of custom versions at cost but is not able to assist in funding acquisition. Final implementation efforts, ongoing support and updates will be provided free of charge.
