Dominican Republic Release

by Nicole Decker last modified 2006-02-15 15:05

DR 015December 12 marked the day of the official release of our beta test of the NxOpinion knowledgebase as it currently supports the non-profit product, InfoDx.  Nicole Robertson-Decker trained five bilingual physicians who were overwhelmingly positive about the product.  Immediate application to a patient presenting unusual and vague symptoms produced diagnostic assistance not otherwise available.

These physicians credited successful diagnosis and treatment for that patient fully to our product.  While only released in the Dominican Republic to date, the effect of InfoDx in the global arena is already evident.

DR 016Project Director, Dr. Teo Beato for the Medical Ministry International has requested that he be allowed to take InfoDx international through his team of physicians as they serve in rural areas.  The demand is so great he has few concerns that hardware can be found and simply requested access to the software.  Testing of the knowledgebase and user interface will continue for three months.

This is invaluable data which will exponentially strengthen the NxOpinion product months before it hits the market.  As refinements are made, additional release sites will be identified.

DR 004Doctors On Call For Service (DOCS) in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a great supporter of InfoDx who has provided valuable insight and consultation regarding the use of it in underdeveloped areas, will be among the next recipients. Continued philanthropic funding for InfoDx is needed now to provide InfoDx staff to meet this overwhelming demand.
